Software Process Development Engineer

YES-Engineering is looking embedded software engineers for development, simulation and testing technology of powertrains (hybrid, combustion engines, transmission, electric drive, batteries and software) for passenger cars, trucks and large engines and their integration into the vehicle.

YOUR PROFILE

• Knowledge of signal processing, communications or control engineering.
• Experience in programming real-time systems in C and C++.
• Experience in programming with Python.
• Experience in the Automotive field.
• Good written and spoken English skills 

YOUR TASKS

• Create, develop and maintain our Software Development Process, which serves as a basis for developers of the global organization in multiple development-areas (e.g. Embedded & Application Software, Safety, On-board Diagnostics, CyberSecurity, ADAS).
• Develop our guidelines, implementation- and testing-methodologies for various development use-cases (manual code, auto-generated code, different programming languages).
• Design and implement generic strategy for unit-testing, penetration-testing and other testing methodologies required by the standards.
• Ensure that the state-of-the-art standards are implemented and applied systematically within the Software Process (e.g. ASpice, ISO26262, Autosar, etc.)  
• Interface with internal technical stakeholders, supervise/train internal engineers and external customers by presentations and trainings
• Drive your own further education (4+1), thus building up knowledge and actively passing it on
